Perfect Nude Luminizer

I'm currently wrapped up in my duvet, surrounded by bin bags of winter clothing, a white feather boa and more tealight holders than you could shake a stick at. I'd explain but we'd probably be here a long time and no doubt you want to crack on with the good stuff.

Also, I need to point out how proud I am of myself for managing to sit down and blog twice over the last few days... I barely even know my own name at the moment so it really is quite the achievement.

I have a new, current obsession... and it's purdy.

We Care Icon Heart Luminizer Perfect Nude Swatch

It's the We Care Icon Heart Luminizer Highlighter in the shade Perfect Nude. Finnish people, that link's for you as, as far as I'm aware, you can only get your paws on it in Finland; but do correct me if I'm wrong. Also, believe me when I say this... That swatch does not do it justice.

A while ago, I raved about a similar product from the We Care Icon range, the All Over Shimmer Chic Glow Highlighter in No.1 Magic. I was dusting this stuff all over my face religiously until I decided to branch out and try another highlighting powder from the Finnish beauty brand.

...and I'm SO glad I did.

Ignore the cheap-looking, plastic packaging and the child-like heart pattern of the pan, this stuff is seriously good. Trying to catch the subtle, champagne/gold shimmer in its full glory proves difficult, as you can see, the above picture shows it to appear almost silver in tone and it really doesn't do this gorgeous highlighter any justice.

It's finely milled and feels almost creamy to the touch. The shimmery gold flecks are tiny, so the powder gives a gentle, 'lit from within' glow without looking too glittery or unnatural. I've been dusting this on my face every. single, day. since I bought it several weeks ago and it's a real game-changer.

I feel like this product should be more expensive, that it should carry a fancy logo and come inside a sleek, metallic compact. I feel like I want to snap a load of these up and dish them out to friends and family, screaming at them to try it. I haven't tried any of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders, (although Luminous Light has been on my radar for ever) but I really feel like these run in the same thread. My skin literally glows when I use both of these We Care Icon powders, and that is something that I can definitely get on board with!

What are your thoughts? Do you have any luminising products that you swear by or do you own any of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders - if so, I'm all ears, sell 'em to me!!
